Born and raised in the Ozarks of SW MO, I didn't take much interest in the outdoors until my father took me out at age 11. From there I took my first deer, and that sealed my fate for the rest of my days! I live for the fall and the chess match I get to play with mature bucks. It consumes most of my thoughts and time! I also enjoy the chase of springtime's greatest bird... the wild turkey! It's hard not to be in the outdoors during the spring or fall.
I married my beautiful wife back in 2019 in the mountains of Wyoming, and since then we have brought 3 beautiful children into this world. It takes a special woman to be married to an avid outdoorsman such as myself, and I couldn't ask for a better one. God bless them!
Growing up in a small-town church it's obvious that the good lord has his hand in everything, including the time spent outdoors. God has sure blessed me with some great experiences in my life and a lot of good times in his creation. None of it would be possible without him and that's something I try to keep in mind and encourage everyone else to do the same.

I always say you can find me in the woods year-round. Whether I’m chasing turkeys in the spring, making food plots in the summer, or crow hunting in the winter I love being outside and immersed in the wilderness. I love to bow hunt and go hunting in western states, but my absolute favorite animal to hunt is a wild turkey. Good luck getting me to do much of anything during those 20 days in the spring. I live for that gobble!
One of the most important things to me is my family. I married my high school sweetheart in 2022, and we had our first baby in May of 2024. My wife and I regularly hunt and fish together, and I can’t wait for the day I get to take my son hunting for the first time.
Over the past 10 years my faith has become more prominent and important in my life. I was saved when I was 13 years old and decided a few years after that I was going to dedicate my life to serving God. Today I call Sentinel Missionary Baptist Church my home, and you will find me there any time those doors are open. I always put my faith and being in Gods house above hunting. I would rather God bless me with a buck on Saturday, than the Devil tempt me with a buck on Sunday.
