Our Mission

Getting back to our roots

We want to help people look beyond the silly things that we let bother and influence the kind of outdoorsmen and women we are. We want people to worry less about the kind of camo they wear, what kind of bow you shoot, and how big your buck is; rather we want people to be more concerned about healthy wildlife, sharing this with people we care about, and the element of the pursuit. It is important to realize that we are just as guilty of these things as everyone else at times, but we are dedicated to transitioning away from letting those elements distort our sense of self and refocus on foundational principals. How do you think Fred Bear would react to the behavior in the hunting industry today? How do you think he'd feel knowing people are more concerned about equipment and gear over making ethical shots? Somewhere down the line we traded the important and sacred parts of hunting for big racks and pretty camo.

Promote hunting camp traditions and to share camaraderie with one another

One of the most sacred and rich traditions in hunting is deer camp. Iā€™m sure most with hunting in their background can think back to a time where family and friends get together to eat good food, sit around a fire, and share stories late into the night before going hunting in the morning. Unfortunately, that is a tradition that has almost become lost in time. Not everyone has been able to be part of a deer camp before, especially young hunters. We want to use these events to bring people together to share their hunting stories, learn from each other, and enjoy the company.
